These are strange times that we are living in, aren’t they? Truly, they are unprecedented and something we have never seen before. During these uncertain times, we wanted to take a moment to extend a word of encouragement to you all. This month’s resources are for you to gain comfort, courage, and strength from.

We’ve gathered all of our resources for you into this month’s eZine, including the video above for you to watch and listen to. We’ve also included a note from our staff on how we are proceeding forward and continuing to help our Counselling clients. Finally, we’ve included an article that we hope reminds you to use this time of social distancing as one to reconnect with your family and to instead practice Social exclusiveness.

Whether you are a person of faith or not, remember, God is still in charge – not a virus. We are here behind you and we will be here for you no matter what your needs are.

The opposite mindset of social distancing is “social exclusiveness” – that is being with those that you have no choice but to be with – namely your family. This is your tribe —your exclusive circle. Therein lies one of your greatest opportunities. This COVID-19 threat and its resulting implications can either make or break your marriage and family unit. It is my hope that you will develop “Crisis Intimacy” — that your commitment to work through the tough times together will actually create a new and stronger bond between you and your circle
