I can’t count the number of times we have talked with couples who swear that they didn’t want or need premarital counselling. I’m not entirely sure if the reason for that is just the usual stigma around the idea of “counselling” or if it’s a wrestling with the idea that they could benefit or get help when they are on “Cloud 9” and everything in their relationship seems perfect.
