The Curries
Dr. Dave Currie is a speaker, author, educator and registered therapist. As President of Doing Family Right, he is a powerful force that challenges people with God’s truth for relationships. Donalyn is a deeply authentic and caring woman that shares straight from the heart. Together with Donalyn, married 44 years with 4 kids and 13 grandchildren, they share their passion, love and lives in an entertaining and practical way that men respect and women trust. They believe, “you’ll never regret putting your marriage and family first.”

Merri Ellen Giesbrecht
Merri Ellen Giesbrecht is a retreat and camp speaker, teacher, author, researcher, credentialed pastor, certified life coach and spiritual director. As a team member of Doing Family Right, she provides coaching, mentoring, disciple-making, and spiritual direction to youth and women through workshops, seminars, and one-on-one sessions.
Merri Ellen has spoken to women, teens, and children on various Biblical themes such as being Rooted in Christ, Under Construction: Being a work in progress, Plugging into our Power Source: The Holy Spirit, Soaring in our Freedom in Christ, and Titus 2 intergenerational mentoring/discipleship, and choosing to worship Jesus in the warfare, to name a few.
She provides spiritual direction through meditation in God’s Word, learning to hear God’s voice, personal journey reflection, seeking the road ahead with Jesus.
She provides certified life coaching to youth and women guiding them through powerful questions to reflect and develop a plan of action according to their desired outcomes.
She is also the principle writer and editor of an online editorial of scientific research and life stories spreading hope to depression sufferers in over 120 countries now to date.
She and her husband have been married since 1995 and blessed with 2 teenage boys. You will find her laughing with her guys, hiking mountains or walking the neighbourhood with her dog, or most likely in some deep or hilarious conversation with someone at the grocery store.
