Courtney has a passion for journeying with people to experience freedom and healing.  Her desire is to provide a warm and non-judgemental space to increase awareness, explore challenges and help clients make meaningful changes that suit their goals. She would love to journey with you to collaboratively explore opportunities for transformation and flourishing. Her experience includes working with individuals and young adults that are navigating topics such as life transitions, mental health challenges, relational conflicts, spiritual integration and identity.

2. Professional Credentials

Courtney is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#21498), a designation of the BC clinical counsellors association (BCACC) and has completed her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Courtney has taken these additional training certifications:

  • Intimacy Anorexia with AASAT (in progress)
  • Trauma Treatment Certification Training
  • Treating Complex PTSD with Internal Family Systems
  • Coaching Essentials Certificate.

3. Worldview and Counselling Perspective

Courtney operates out of a person-centered approach as she believes that empathy and trust in the counselling room are foundational to transformation.  Her focus is to create a space where you feel safe and seen, so that you can develop goals and help move through challenges to live abundantly. She believes that all people are created beautifully unique and seeks to integrate theoretical approaches that fit you. Her faith in God guides her worldview and she seeks to be welcoming and respectful to all perspectives.

4. Counselling Information

In Office sessions. Courtney currently resides and works in the Fraser Valley.  To book an in-office session, please email Courtney. 

Session Length – 50 minutes.

Cost: $125/ session

By Phone or via Zoom or Face Time sessions. Where distance limits direct personal access, phone or online coaching has been very effective.

5. Payment for Services

Payment is due at the time of the session by cash or cheque or by e-transfer by the end of the day. Make cheques payable to Courtney Sukkau.

Cancellation Fee: With notification of less than 24 hours, clients agree to pay a cancellation fee equal to a full session.
