1. EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

Sara has spent the last 8-years working as an Employment Consultant. Feeling the nudge of purpose, she was drawn curiously and compassionately to the challenges faced by her clients on their journey to recovery. After nearly a decade of working closely on many complex mental health cases, together with her own experiences in counselling, she decided to pursue her Masters Degree in Psychology and Clinical Counselling. Sara is currently completing her internship placement with DFR until December 2023.

Bachelor of Health Science, Masters of Counselling Psychology (Qualifying), Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional, Progressive Goal Attainment Program Certification

Sara’s worldview is shaped by the ever-deepening knowledge of the surpassing love of Christ. Her heart is to bring comfort and clarity to clients, not by her own insight, but by the transforming truth of the gospel of grace. Sara’s style is an eclectic mix of cognitive processing, narrative therapy, and utilizing a strengths-based approach.

4. COUNSELLING INFORMATION

Counselling in Person (all ages) and Zoom: $50/session.

Session Length – 50 minutes.

5. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES

Payment is due at the time of the session by cash or cheque or by e-transfer by the end of the day. Make cheques payable to Sara Farid Some employee benefits packages and extended medical insurance cover personal and family counselling with registered counsellors. Check with your provider.

Cancellation Fee: With notification of less than 24 hours, clients agree to pay a cancellation fee equal to a full session, except in emergency.
